Yikes! Time has really flown by lately since my last post! Whoops! I have high hopes I can get my Sewing Summit recap up soon before I forget everything I did, but life sometimes gets busy… like crazy busy.

Since Sewing Summit, I’ve had a nasty cold that is still lingering around a bit after 2 weeks and Andy and I just moved into a new place this past weekend. Also, we celebrated my sister’s 30th birthday and squeezed in an anniversary photoshoot this weekend too! I’m not going to lie, I’m a bit exhausted.

I’m super excited about our new place! It’s in a fun location and close to our friends. However, moving is the pits! I really wish my new apartment would magically organize itself… it’s amazing how moving really makes me realize just how much junk I have. I have hoarder tendencies, so this move has been a little overwhelming with trying to figure out where to put everything.

However, our new place has 2 bedrooms so one of them is going to be a SEWING ROOM for me! And I’m SO excited! Right now it’s a hot mess, but I’ve been pouring over pinterest looking for office and craft room inspiration. Here’s to dreaming my space can one day be as fab as these.

I’m obsessed with everything about this office closet from House for Five.

Lauren Conrad Desk

Gold accents are totally my jam and this desk from The Every Girl is so gorgeous! Where does one even find a stapler and tape dispenser like these?!

This home office from Chic Sprinkles is so light and bright! White with pops of color is so stunning!

I reeeally want these tin boxes from Muhs Home to organize all my sewing notions.

The Pretty Blog office

These giant drawers in this home office from The Pretty Blog would be perfect to store patterns!

Since this will be my first sewing room (I used to craft in my kitchen) do you have any recommendations for storage and organization? Goodness knows I could use all the help I can get!
